George Wagner joined YILPORT in 2021 as Global HSSE Director, and is now the Chief ESG Officer of YILDIRIM Group, which operates in 9 industries across 5 continents and 56 countries. George is leading the process of making ESG/Sustainability an integral part of this far-reaching organization, whose portfolio ranges from terminal operations, shipping, mining/metallurgy and fertilizers to renewable energy. His responsibilities include ESG/Sustainability policy, compliance with relevant EU legislation including CSRD reporting, decarbonization strategies for the group, and group-wide training and awareness at all levels.
